About

About the KnowledgeCentre™

CPHA’s Public Health KnowledgeCentre™ is a group subscriber-based service for those working in public health. We’ve developed this service to share what you know and strengthen how you collaborate across jurisdictions. Our goal is to advance public health practice in Canada.

We strive to give you timely access to scientific and practice-based research, information, e-learning and community tools to keep you productive and up to date.

  • Your Resources: Information and learning tools from across Canada and around the world. Our growing library includes articles, books and journals, guidelines, manuals, policy documents, evaluated websites and resources for all levels of practice and across diverse topics. Subscribers can also add their resources to the KnowledgeCentre.
  • Your Communities: A virtual workspace designed for you and your colleagues to share knowledge and experience as a group. Work and learn together by participating in established communities, or you can request new communities to be formed. Our Community spaces provide access to Web 2.0 tools including wikis, blogs, discussion forums, tagging and personal profiles.
  • Your eLearning: Access to eLearning resources for beginners to experts from across Canada and internationally. Identify your learning needs and learning styles and pick from a growing and evolving body of training tools. Group Subscribers can also work with KnowledgeCentre staff to develop and deliver specifically tailored eLearning courses.
