Get access to scientific and practice-based research, information, e-learning and community tools. Learn, innovate and make a difference. The KnowledgeCentre™ is a group subscriber-based service for people working in public health. Why join?  For registration help, click here.

Subscriber Benefits

As a KnowledgeCentre™ subscriber, you can visit and learn on the site for 10 minutes or 10 hours, make a quick contact in your community or work through our library of resources in public health.

The KnowledgeCentre works on Macs and PCs. Everyone relates and learns differently, so we’ve designed the site so you can get in, drill down and get out quickly, or you can browse, network and study a subject for hours.

As a subscriber, you’ll have access to:

  • a wide selection of resources including a growing library of reports, tools, books, journals, guidelines, manuals, policy documents, evaluated websites and resources;
  • areas of expertise offered by public health professionals working in over 25 disciplines across Canada;
  • top quality and timely e-Learning offerings;
  • current news and events;
  • collaborative online communities; and
  • career opportunities and job postings.

How to Join

Individual KnowledgeCentre™ subscriptions depend on your employer becoming a Group Subscriber first.

Your employer purchases a series of Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) that allows you and your colleagues, as employees, to register and complete Personal Profiles as subscribers of the KnowledgeCentre.

Your employer must have a minimum of 10 full-time equivalents (FTEs) to purchase a group subscription. You do not pay a subscription fee, instead your employer is responsible for all agreements and payments to the Public Health KnowledgeCentre™.

As a Group Subscriber, your employer will identify an account administrator to enter/update the organizational contact information and act as the main contact for technical support issues. The account administrator will have overall administrative responsibility for the Group subscription.

To learn more about becoming a Group Subscriber, contact the KnowledgeCentre at knowledgecentre@cpha.ca.

If your employer already has a Group subscription, contact your KnowledgeCentre account administrator to get your PIN.

CPHA Members

Members of CPHA have access to the KnowledgeCentre as a CPHA membership benefit. Contact membership@cpha.ca to get your KnowledgeCentre PIN.
